Iron salts

 Ferric OrthophosphateFePO4·xH2O Ferric Phosphate occurs as a white-pinkish white to buff coloured powder. Ferric Orthophosphate is insoluble in water. It is readily soluble in dilute mineral acids.

Ferric PyrophosphateFe4(P2O7)3 occurs as a white-off white coloured powder. Ferric Pyrophosphate is insoluble in water. It is readily soluble in dilute mineral acids.

A fine yellowish-Gray or pale greenish-yellow powder or granular with a slight odour resembling that of burnt sugar. Soluble with slight heating in water, practically insoluble in ethanol. Ferrous gluconate is often used as an iron source for food fortification and in the treatment of anemia (blood is shorts of healthy red blood cells caused by insufficient iron) in medical uses.

The iron supplement ferrous sulfate is an iron salt with the chemical formula FeSO4.A greenish or yellow-brown or white crystalline solid or powder, Ferrous sulfate is also called iron sulfate, green vitriol, and iron vitriol.
